Photo-Blog: Bottoms Up! End of November, 2015

Bottoms Up!

End of November, 2015

Believe it or not, the end of November is already here. Time to prepare for some of the rear-action scenes like the one below. The approaching winter holidays will provide many opportunities for us to strut about the kitchen revealing our ass-ets as we prepare our edible delights!

Of course, the upcoming holiday season provides us all with many chances of holiday travel and a time for us to grab our bare buddies and pose like the dudes pictured below!

Don't be shy...just bare with pride! The freedom that you'll feel by being clothes-free and hanging loose is more than you can ever imagine!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

Friday Footnote

Friday for many is the last day of the traditional work-week. There's nothing wrong with adding some humorous "fun" to Friday as a footnote to end of another week at work! The image below is a clear example to one of the many hazards of clothing. You don't have any choice but to make a very public spectacle of yourself when you need to ensure that all of your equipment is present and accounted for! LOL!

Now, if you were bare, there would be no need to make an obvious show of your self-inspection! When we're clothes-free, we're all the same!

When we're bare, there's no need to make asset inventory such a major production. If necessary, a simple, casual glance will confirm that we're all "still there!"

Have a great weekend!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

Preparing the Thanksgiving Feast

My own culinary skills are extremely limited. I'm unable to even boil water without burning the pan. This severe challenge makes even the simplest cooking task a major undertaking that often results in a very unappetizing meal for myself and any unfortunate guests who fate sends my way.

Fortunately, my husband, Aaron, is quite accomplished in his cooking abilities and he seriously enjoys being busy in the kitchen. In the years that we've been together, through his patience and understanding, I've become adept at passing the spices as he needs them and at wiping the sweat off of his brow (among other things).

I can think of no better sight than watching the love of my life busy preparing our Thanksgiving holiday meal. Of course, he's completely bare while doing so!

We're hosting an all-gay Thanksgiving feast for Twin and his boyfriend, Sudhir; my cousin, Michael and his partner, Ropati and Aaron's brother and his significant man, Jerome. And yes, we'll all be happily naked as we gather around our dining room table.

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

Photo-Blog: Nude Dudes November, 2015

November is a very fickle time of the year. It's as though the summer is struggling to maintain complete control of the temperature. The mornings can be chilly or cool, sometimes even downright cold. The sun miraculously pops out on the horizon and immediate sheds rays that begin to warm the air. My mid-day, the thermometer registers the rising heat and by early afternoon, it is quite pleasant and warm outside.

Many take advantage of the moderate temperatures and enjoy hikes bare on the trails through the woods. These are fine when in the direct sunshine, but often become chilly when in the shade provided by pine trees. Many will wear a jacket to bring comfort when hiking under the frequent shade. Then it becomes necessary to shed the garment when encountering a stretch of open space.

Regardless, there's no denying the thrill of being totally bare in the fresh air on a sun-filled November day! It's times like these that remind us all of the glory of being naked and carefree!

Besides, who knows when you may encounter another man doing the same! Nude friends are the best friends a man can have!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

About My Blog Signature

The official name of this blog is Guys Without Boxers. The reason is that when I have to absolutely wear underwear (and other items of clothing), I prefer the traditional boxer style. Otherwise, I am completely bare (naked, nude). I think most of those reading/visiting here are aware that my life preference is nudity: anytime, anywhere. Personally, being totally clothes-free offers the maximum comfort. That's the reason for both this blog title and for my blog signature.

As the author of Guys Without Boxers, my signature with each post is Bare With Pride. First, whenever I am am bare (naked, nude), I am also proud and confident. I feel no shame being without the false and unnatural covering of garments. I know that I don't have the perfect body, but I am comfortable with the body that I do possess. Secondly, I am not bothered in sharing my nudity with others, regardless if they are bare like me or fully clothed. The important fact to remember is that other men, underneath all their layers of pants, shirts, underwear, etc., are just as naked as I am.

Last but not least, I sign all posts as Bare With Pride, because that's the message that I want to convey to everyone who reads/visits here. As an advocate and ambassador for natural or bare living, I want to remind others to experience nudity with both confidence and pride. There is no reason for any discomfort or uneasiness over our nakedness. This is the way that we were born and, in my humble opinion, this is the ideal way to live.

Not only do I sign each entry with Bare With Pride, I add a few visuals to remind readers of my message. Among the many reasons I share this blog is to:
encourage: my same gender loving brothers and others to experience the clothes-free life
educate: all about the advantages, benefits and joys of social nudity
empower: same gender loving men and others to be bare with pride
enable: strengthen the bonds of our bare same gender loving brotherhood.

This graphic combines my bare buttocks with the colors of the same gender loving rainbow flag. It is framed within a triangle used by the Nazi Germans to identify homosexual inmates in concentration camps.

This logo lets everyone know that being bare is fine and fun.

I am a guy without boxers and urge everyone here to be the same.

I am naked/nude with confidence/pride and you should be, too!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

As this posting discusses my blogging signature, I'm concluding this entry with a photograph instead of my usual visuals.

Friday Footnote: Bare Leaves

One of the sure signs that Autumn is here. The hiking trails through the woods are covered underneath a fresh carpet of leaves. Get out and hike bare while you can. Overnight can bring a chill to the air that discourages going bare (at least, outdoors)!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

Armistice Day/ Remembrance Day/Veteran's Day

On November 11, 1918, at 11:00 a.m., the cessation of hostilities between the Allies and the Central Powers in World War I (at the time known as the "Great War") occurred. This event is hailed as the official end of that horrendous conflict. An armistice had been signed by all the belligerents that obliged the fighting to cease at that specific time. The carnage was, at last, after four long years, over.

It would be almost two years before the Treaty of Versailles was signed that officially recognized the Allied victory over the Central Powers. However, for the most part, the "war to end all wars" was finally finished. Those who had survived the gruesome battles could at last return home.

In the USA, the commemoration of this ending of fighting is observed as Veteran's Day. This is the time to salute all men and women, gay, bisexual or otherwise, who have served in both wartime and in peacetime in all branches of the American military. Those killed in action are remembered on Memorial Day, the final Monday of May, annually.

Since 2011, all who have served in the U.S. armed forces, regardless of their sexual orientation, have been included in Veteran's Day parades and services. The U.S. Congress repealed the ban on GLBT people openly serving in the military in December, 2010. President Barack Obama signed the act into law a day later.

Throughout the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, this date is known as Remembrance Day. On this day, all of those who sacrificed their lives in defense of their respective Commonwealth country are honored and remembered for their heroic service.

In the photograph above, H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, places a commemorative wreath of poppies at The Cenotaph honoring British and Commonwealth war dead. In the image below, H.R.H. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, salutes during the memorial service.

The rest of the world observes this date as Armistice Day. It is celebrated for what it is, the day the fighting of the First World War ended.

Throughout the Commonwealth and much of the world, The Red Poppy symbolizes the sacrifice of those who died while in service of their country. This flower represents the fighting in the trenches that was the norm for most of World War I. It was immortalized in the poem(below) written by John McCrae (1872-1918) shortly before his death prior to the signing of the 1918 Armistice.

In Flanders Fields
by John McCrae

In Flanders field the poppies blow
between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunsets glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Guys Without Boxers: Bare With Pride salutes all veterans who have served their countries in peacetime as well as times of conflict. For all those heroic men and women who paid with their lives, we are all eternally grateful for your courage and valor.

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!
