Homebound

There are many pleasures derived from being s'naked in winter. Despite that fact, one of the many down aspects of being a bare-enthusiast during the coldest season of the year is the frequent occurance of being "homebound." Due to the varying weather patterns, excessive snowfall, severe ice conditions and extremely frigid outdoor temperatures can all, alone or in combination, restrict us to our homes for much of the season.

This can lead to boredom, depression or to a condition known as "cabin fever" (when we reach our limits of spending time within the confines of our apartments/homes). Aside from the mental anguish, "cabin fever" can also lead to alcoholism and other destructive behaviors.

To combat this seasonal calamity, there are several suggestions for the naturists/nudists to use in order to keep their sanity and to keep themselves distracted and productive. These suggestions may take some degree of planning beforehand. Remember that these suggestions are not all inclusive. Feel free to modify any and all to suit your needs.

Suggestions:

1. Take selfies of your nudity: Be as creative as you dare while making images of yourself bare! You have plenty of time to prepare so use your imagination and get busy! Better still, make a list of your poses and follow through on them all. You'll be amazed at the results!

2. Email a few selfies to your friends: Not only will you liven their day, but sending pictures of your nudity to some of your naturist/nudist buddies may encourage them to take some bare selfies themselves and sending a few to you. This has the potential to create a worthwhile diversion!

3. Plan your next nakation:  A "nakation" is simply nude + vacation = nakation. If you've never gone on one before, no problem. Do a little research, plan your budget and make a list of possibilities. You just may find that it's not as prohibitive as you may think. Thinking of the sunshine and travel will lift your spirits and alleviate the winter "blahs."

4. Create a bare photo album: For this, you may need to purchase a photo album beforehand. Organize your photos from previous nakations, or pictures of you and your friends bare from group outings or social events into a nice album to view with your friends. Also, a place for any selfies your bare buddies may send to you from suggestion #2.

5. Go online and visit a gay nudist site: If you've never done this before, now that you have the time, try it! If a "chat room" is available, check it out. You may be surprised when you start meeting other same gender loving bare-enthusiasts from throughout this country and the world.

What to try to avoid:

Spending an excessive amount of time watching television or spending an inordinate amount of time online. This can compound depression and, believe it or not, enhance boredom. Limit your television viewing to actually what you really are interested in and online browsing to items that hold an interest for you. Be selective and a good idea is to alternate between watching television and online usage by reading a book, magazine or newspaper. Avoid falling into a "mindless" rut.

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

Photo-Blog: Nude Dudes: February, 2016

By this time of the years, I am just sick and tired of all the frigid temperatures and the winter weather. Many times, I find myself lying in bed and dreaming of the warm days of summer ahead. This post is all about sharing with you the dreams that always miraculously return, night after night.

The image above almost creates a nightmare for me. Is this the look of all the beaches of the future? With all the sand he's got stuck to his back and ass, is there any sand left on the beach?

I'm not sure about the above image. I can't decide why I am fascinated with this scene. Is it the nude dude on the beach or is it the inviting view of the beach itself. Perhaps it is a combination of them both. My mind tells me that it is definitely both the two combined.

Another scenario that I sometimes visit in my dreams is of a crowded beach on one of the many holiday weekends during the season. A mental vision of an endless sea of masculine nudity, bare buttocks and penises as far as the eye can see. The infinite beauty that is bare mankind at its best! This sight is synonymous with the idea of a gay paradise.

I am just so ready for the return of the Spring-time! I know it's just a month away; does anyone know how to "fast-forward" the calendar?

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

S'Naked!

One of the few winter outdoor activities that I truly enjoy is being s'naked (snow + naked = s'naked). I'd never experienced this until  January, 2010. Once I tried it, I immediately discovered that I really enjoyed the excitement of being naked in the snow and I've been a s'naked enthusiast ever since.

Being s'naked is nothing more than skinny-dipping in the snow! At least, that's the way my husband, Aaron, explained it to me as he was convincing me to try it the first winter snowfall that we shared together. That simple summary was all it took for me to try the activity myself. I've never regretted it!

All that's necessary for a s'naked event is a recent snowfall and stripping off all clothing and "hanging-out" completely bare! The thrill of being nude outdoors and frolicking in the snow offers an endless array of activity options to alleviate winter boredom and a new opportunity to enjoy social nudity with friends.

Aaron first tried s'naked play while he was a student at university. He became hooked then and has been a fan for years. That's why he was relentless in getting me to join in the fun. It's an incredible experience that is impossible to describe.

Before Aaron and I got s'naked, he made sure that I followed two essential basics. First, always use sunscreen when doing so. The snow reflects and intensifies the solar rays, even during winter. Second, always wear sunglasses. This protects the eyes and reduces the chance of "snow blindness."

I've uploaded some pictures from my initial s'naked event onto my Bare With Pride companion page here. Click the page title to view, scrolling down the photos offered.

I Love You...Bare!

What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than to share some skin with your man?

Nothing else speaks to the essence of love quite like offering yourself to him bare.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Proudly Bare!

This bare dude is obviously proud as hell to take this selfie of himself and post it to whatever social media outlet he prefers. First, he's got both his face and the reflection of his nude buttocks in the picture and second, he's got his clothing and shoes all neatly stored away in his closet, which is where they should be. Third, and not the least, he's definitely not in the closet with his garments. He's out and clothes-free, with no regrets!

Good for him. Bare and proud with no shame!

Too often on social media sites, guys pose with their male anatomy fully exposed but no face contained in their images. This gives the impression that either they're ashamed of their physical anatomy or that they're embarrassed about being naked (or maybe even both). This tells the viewer that they fear recognition by friends and/or family. If this is indeed the case, then why bother to even entertain the thought of posting an image on social media that shows frontal or rear-end nakedness? If it is indeed your site or page, viewers will know this beforehand.

I am a staunch advocate in favor of same gender loving social nudity in particular and communal nakedness in general and try to encourage bare pride in others, regardless of their sexual orientation. That's part of the goal and/or reason of sharing this blog. If we're all about living clothes-free, then let's do it without guilt or remorse. There's absolutely nothing disgusting or wrong in being a gay naturist/nudist. Be confident in being who you truly are!

One final note on this photograph above. He evidently put some thought into the matter before he posed for this "selfie." His clothing and footwear are organized in either the closet rack or on a shelf. There is no chaotic clutter in the image's background. Nice job!

Peace! Get naked. Enjoy!

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Today is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This date is observed to raise awareness among the nations's African-American community of the life-threatening effects of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, and to increase the commitment of all cultures in the struggle against new infections of this devastating illness.

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD) has four key components of their initiative: get educated, get tested, get treated and get involved. By encouraging the Black community to engage in these four efforts, the goal is to significantly reduce the incidents of HIV infections among all African-Americans of all ages and both genders.

The educational component features perspectives and statistics that challenge the often-held myth that it is only Black, gay men who become infected with HIV. This stereotype isn't restricted to just the African-American population. Despite numerous campaigns to the American people, many still think that HIV/AIDS is a "gay disease." This stigma is one of the primary reasons for the continued infection rate among the non-same gender loving community.

National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day has an awareness ribbon that features the three traditional colors of the Black equality/liberation movement: black, green and red.
